We bought this app when we moved from a traditional baby monitor to a Foscam. It worked great and we were satisfied with the app. When we upgraded our cameras to newer, H.264 Foscams, we were disappointed to find out that the app would not work with them. Still, we held out hope that they would eventually be supported. A few months after we purchased the app--for over $10, if I recall correctly--we received word from the developer stating something to the effect that future development was on hold because it was too expensive and that we should donate more money. Having just recently purchased the app, I didnt feel compelled to pay more for it. Alas, the app hasnt been updated in over nine months and weve been forced to move on to another app. While it is not as user friendly, it receives constant updates, including new camera support. Unless you are using older cameras, I would advise you to not purchase this. This will be even more relevant when Apple releases iOS 9 later this year, as I doubt the app will be updated to support the new OS.

Works fine on WiFi in the house, but not out of the house or on cellular data.

Works well with my Sharx cameras. Well worth the money. Use it all the time.

The app is way too overpriced for what you get. Over time, there seem to be more and more reliability issues that wont get fixed ("Ive seen a lot of issues with WiFi stability in later iOS versions, but I havent been able to find a workaround so far. Im trying to improve stability further and also add support for the latest versions of iOS but I dont know when I will be able to release this, since I am having trouble supporting newer cameras. Some customers have had success with WiFi repeaters, or maybe you can try a different router to see if you can get a better WiFi signal. Thanks, Peter"; Source: developers support forum) The UI is so outdated, its not even funny anymore. I was happy with it for the time it lasted. Now, its time to find a replacement.

After using this app for several months, it became more and more unusable. First, squelch levels where not adjustable anymore (the developer blames Apple for this), now the app frequently reboots every 5sec. Since I bought this app, there where no updates. The UI is soooo outdated, its not even funny. Apparently, the price of this app is not enough for simple maintenance. I even received an email asking for donations. This app seems to be more of a hobby than anything else. The price is too high for what you get, or to support somebodys hobby. There are better apps out there that offer much better value.

There are lots of really great things about this app, the multiple cameras, working with all of my apple devices, the dimmer, the option for positioning and muting. I reduced the stars for 2 reasons, I have never been able to get the "away" mode to work (has anyone???) and it disconnects from the network very randomly, though I dont know for certainty if this is an issue that is due to wifi strength or some other reason. Also, there is about a 3 sec delay in the sound, though in the grand scheme of things that isnt a big deal.

This app is awesome! I recommend playing with it for a day or two to help you feel more comfortable navigating it and just to explore all the options. I love that I can go back and see how long my baby has been crying (especially when we were sleep training!) You can also dim the video so at night I can check it without burning my eyes from the bright light! I also love that the app will give you tips upon opening! So helpful in learning how to use it! Im ready for a new update to see what features they come up with next!

We purchased this app several years ago. We separated our devices to family sharing per user. It would have cost us $50 extra to use this app on all devices. Clearly not worth it. Barely worth $10. Dont waste you money on a non-shareable app!

Have used app with camera for nearly 2 years.

Just keeps disconnecting and reconnecting. Has not been updated in years, stay away unless they come back and fix it. - Update: Bug seems to be with audio on on y-cam cameras at least.

We have a Foscam FI8918W, this app works great with that camera. Weve used this for several years with the kids and its been a great comfort. You have full control over the camera, including pan/tilt/zoom, still photos and video capture. We use iPhones and iPads with the app depending on whats handy. Very glad we bought this app.

This app has everything you want. It has great visuals and it lets us monitor the baby on mute which is fantastic. The audio only kicks in if baby cries or stirs. I get sleep and peace of mind. What a bonus. Also its geek approved. My nerd husband loves it.

Buy $10 worth of diapers - new or used instead! Your money would be better spent there. ...3 years ago it was hardly average. No updates in over 2 years. No care to maintain the app or change with the times. Dont waste your money as its now too buggy and I wouldnt mention reliable and this app in the same hemisphere. Maybe after an app update, Ill update my feedback. But until then, 6.4 is worthless.
